The Column for SUPREMA Duo and LEONARDO® Flexi is a rectification attachment for cleaner and higher-strength distillates. It is fitted between the boiler and the dome condenser and extends the path of the rising vapour. Higher-boiling or unwanted aroma and flavour components condense out inside the column and flow back before reaching the condenser. This allows the distillate to be separated more cleanly and obtained at a higher alcohol strength.
The column fits the SUPREMA Duo and the LEONARDO® Flexi. It is a useful addition when a particularly clean, high-strength or more neutral distillate is desired.
