Biogen-M is a fruit acid concentrate for adjusting and stabilising the correct pH value in the mash. It is used when the natural fruit acid is not sufficient to prevent off-fermentations and kahm yeast.

Dosage
- 200 to 400 ml per 100 l of mash
Application and additions
Biogen-M is added to the mash once at the start of fermentation. For a well-prepared mash you need Turbo Yeast and Liquefier.
For monitoring the sugar content an Oechsle hydrometer is suitable. During fermentation the batch should be kept protected and pressure-free, for example with an airlock and a matching stopper for the airlock.
