The Heads Separation Test according to Pieper is used for the straightforward monitoring of heads components in fruit spirits. The test makes it possible to check whether a distillate still contains heads. You can choose either the complete test set or the matching reagent refill for a further 10 determinations.

- Reagent refill, 10 determinations: three necessary reagents for further determinations. For full use, the test set with colour reference chart and working items is required.

Application
For the test, a 5 ml sample is mixed with three different reagents. The resulting colour development allows the result to be assessed against the colour reference chart.
Additions
Clean mash management helps to avoid off-fermentations and to improve the quality of the spirit. A Turbo Yeast, Biogen-M, Liquefier Spezial, an airlock and a matching stopper for the airlock are suitable for this.
The Still Deluxe, the Suprema Unit and the Suprema Duo are suitable for the distillation.
